Trauma informed Yoga therapy contributes to the healing of those impacted by traumatic life events by establishing a therapeutic relationship rooted in the authentic sharing of body-based self-regulation strategies. The techniques and philosophies of Yoga support survivors in developing a sense of agency in their bodies in the present moment and in their lives and relationships off the mat. I offer training’s to Yoga and health care professionals in order to understand and meet the needs of our clients and students using Yoga.
