You Care for Others.

It’s Time to
Care for You.

Compassionate and integrative trauma counselling & yoga therapy for Vancouver’s helping, healing and crisis-response professionals.

You’re dedicated to serving others, but lately, it’s taking a toll

As a helping, healing or crisis response professional, you’ve committed your life to being of service.

You want to excel in your work, contribute to your community, and still have something left to give to your loved ones.

But something’s shifted.

You’re struggling to witness human suffering without being consumed by it.

You’re exhausted by systems that ask for boundless compassion in under-resourced conditions.

You feel overwhelmed, disillusioned, and unsure how long you can keep going like this.

You give so much. The care you offer others should be available to you.

I’m Nicole Marcia (she/her), a registered clinical counsellor (RCC) and yoga therapist (C-IAYT) with over 15 years specializing in trauma healing for individuals in healing, helping and crisis-response roles.

I understand how burnout and vicarious trauma can drain meaning from your work and create ripple effects in your relationships and personal well-being.

You don't have to pretend you're fine or face this alone.

  • “Down to earth. Engaging. Delightful sense of humor. Experienced. Knowledgeable. All these words capture my experience of Nicole–as a person and as a teacher. As a practicing yogi and as a student of yoga, I love my classes with Nicole. As a psychologist, I continue to refer patients, clients, and friends to her because I value what working with Nicole can add to person’s life and healing journey.”

    – Eva DeHaas, Ph.D., Registered Psychologist, Yoga Student
