Guiding Vancouver’s helping, healing and crisis-response professionals toward resilience through trauma counselling & yoga therapy.

You Care for Others.

It’s Time to Care for You.

You’re dedicated to serving others, but lately, it’s taking a toll

As a helping or healing professional, you’ve committed your life to being of service.

You want to excel in your work, contribute to your community, and still have something left to give to your loved ones.

But something’s shifted.

You’re struggling to witness human suffering without being consumed by it.

You’re exhausted by systems that ask for boundless compassion in under-resourced conditions.

You feel overwhelmed, disillusioned, and unsure how long you can keep going like this.

You give so much. The care you offer others should be available to you, too.

I’m Nicole Marcia (she/her), a registered clinical counsellor and yoga therapist with over 15 years of experience as a helping professional, specializing in trauma healing for individuals in crisis-response and caregiving roles.

I understand how burnout and vicarious trauma can drain meaning from your work and create ripple effects in your relationships and personal well-being.

You don't have to pretend you're fine or face this alone.

At Fine Balance Counselling & Yoga Therapy, you’ll find:

  • A safe, confidential space to speak openly without fear of judgment.

  • Evidence-based, integrative practices that work with your body and nervous system.

  • An ally who understands the unique pressures of your profession and how to move through them.

Let’s get started!

  1. Book a free 15-minute consult – A no-pressure call to see if we’re a good fit.

  2. Schedule your first session – Start your path toward clarity, connection, and calm.

  3. Reclaim balance – We’ll work together to help you feel grounded, present, and empowered again.

If You’re Ready to…

✓ Feel more in control of your emotions and energy
✓ Reconnect with your sense of purpose and personal values
✓ Build sustainable habits that support your wellbeing, on and off the job
✓ Experience renewed joy in both your work and your relationships

Without support, it’s easy to spiral into overwhelm, burnout, and emotional disconnection from the people you care about.

Move from feeling powerless and depleted to feeling grounded, capable, and joyful again.
