Counselling for Helping, Healing, & Crisis Response Professionals

You show up for other people's worst days. Who shows up for yours?

You've built a career around presence — staying calm when others can't, holding space in moments most people would run from. That takes a toll most workplaces don't account for, and most people outside your field don't fully understand.

Who I work with

Trauma-Exposed Professionals
Paramedics, firefighters, nurses, social workers, therapists, physicians, ER staff, dispatchers, police, and healthcare & peer support workers.

You're exposed to trauma regularly, yet expected to stay composed. I offer a trauma-informed space to process your experience, reduce hypervigilance, restore balance, and reconnect with the people you love.

Professionals Experiencing Burnout
You're exhausted and running on empty. We'll explore strategies to replenish your energy, set boundaries, and reconnect with the "why" that brought you to this work in the first place.

People Living with Co-Occurring Conditions
The demands of this work don't stay separate from the rest of your life. If you're managing anxiety alongside PTSD, substance use, or depression — conditions that often develop alongside years in high-exposure roles — we'll use integrative, body-based practices to support healing on all levels, without shame or judgment.

How I can help

My work is trauma-informed clinical counselling, built specifically around the realities of helping and crisis-response professions. Alongside talk-based counselling, I draw on somatic and yoga-therapy-informed tools when they're useful — not as separate offerings, but as additional ways of working with what talk alone doesn't always reach, especially when trauma is held in the body as much as the mind.

Why this population specifically

I've spent years working alongside people in helping and crisis-response roles, and I understand the specific weight this work carries — the systems that ask for boundless compassion in under-resourced conditions, the difficulty separating "off duty" from "still holding it." This isn't a generalist practice that happens to see helpers occasionally. It's built around understanding your world from the inside.

None of this means you're doing your job wrong. It means you've been doing it long enough, and hard enough, that your nervous system is asking for support.

You give so much in your work. You deserve support that understands exactly what that costs.

What to Expect

Sessions are trauma-informed, collaborative, and paced to fit your life — never a rigid protocol you're forced into. We'll work together to find an approach that actually fits your schedule, your capacity, and where you're starting from, whether that's weekly sessions, a less frequent rhythm, or something that flexes as your work does.
